Not For The Faint of Taste is a pursuit of what’s meaningful, lasting, and beautifully made.
This is about more than just nice things or pretty places. It’s about the courage to define beauty for yourself. To look closer, live better, and choose with care.
Because somehow, taste cannot be bought, performed or imitated, it has to be cultivated.
I didn’t grow up around much opulence, but I would always reach for it in spirit. A certain kind of music, the cool weight of marble beneath my feet, the way light landed on a surface. I couldn’t always name it, but I knew it had taste.
And that question has stayed with me: why?
What gives something its sense of beauty? What is taste, how do we know if its good or bad, and who decides?
Here, you’ll find reflections on design, materials, culture and meaning. You’ll meet the thinkers who shaped our understanding of taste, and discover the details that shape a life well lived. One thing is for sure; aesthetic judgement is not shallow — it is an intimate expression of who we are.
Whether you’re here to refine your eye, reconnect with your sense of self, or simply learn to choose with more intention, this space is for you.
Not loud. Not fast.
Not faint of taste.
